Our signature hue’s roots are planted in the breathtaking village of Ein Karem, nestled in the historic hills of Jerusalem. Born and raised in this serene setting, our founder Kfir’s mother, Mira, spent her childhood wandering charming cobblestone paths, picking flowers and fruit from lush gardens and groves—and falling in love with the bright turquoise that dots the village’s vibrant landscape, adorning antique doors and windows, hand-painted tiles and iron railings.
Mira eventually settled in Los Angeles, but the village she left behind remained etched in her heart. She filled her wardrobe and jewelry collection with her favorite color—the vivid turquoise an homage to her homeland. As a symbol of Mira’s love and her central place in Kfir’s heart and the heritage of Tieks, Tiek Blue became our signature hue and Mira’s selfless spirit an accent to everything we do.
