Earlier this month, we received tens of thousands of nominations from deserving teachers hoping to win their classroom wish lists as part of our Back To School Giveaway. Reading the nominations moved us deeply and called our attention to how many educators rely on wish list donations to provide their students with much-needed supplies.
In response, we’re giving a $50 Tieks Gift Card to anyone who purchases at least $25 in supplies for a teacher’s classroom through August 31.
We’ve witnessed the incredible impact our Tieks community can make—let’s clear as many classroom wish lists as we can this back-to-school season and help teachers and their students have a successful school year!
Please follow the steps below to support a teacher and receive a $50 Tieks Gift Card, now through August 31.
If you’re a teacher who has purchased at least $25 in supplies for your classroom, you qualify too! See Step 2 to get your Tieks Gift Card.
Step 1: Help Clear A List
First, find a teacher or classroom you wish to support from your friends and family, in-person or online community, or the Teacher Wishlist Finder created by teacher Mrs. Stair.
Next, locate your chosen teacher’s classroom wish list (most teachers have Amazon Wishlists for the specific supplies they need) and purchase at least $25 in supplies from your teacher’s wish list. Be sure to have the order shipped directly to the teacher!
Finally, take a photo or screenshot of your order confirmation or receipt, clearly showing the date the order was placed, the amount paid, and the items purchased.
Step 2: Receive Your Tieks Gift Card
Once you’ve helped clear a teacher’s wish list, click below to submit your purchase for verification. Provide your name, email, the classroom or teacher you supported, the amount purchased from your teacher’s list, and a photo or screenshot of your order confirmation or receipt, clearly showing the order date, amount paid, and items purchased. Once we verify your submission, we’ll email you a $50 Tieks Gift Card within 5-10 business days.
+Can I donate more than $25 to receive multiple Tieks Gift Cards?
You’re welcome to contribute more than $25 and to as many wish lists as possible, but each individual may receive and redeem only one $50 Tieks Gift Card.
+I'm a teacher who bought supplies for my own class. Do I qualify for a Tieks Gift Card?
Yes! Teachers can provide a receipt or order confirmation for their own classroom purchases (dated within the last 30 days) to receive a Tieks Gift Card.
+I helped clear a teacher’s wish list prior to the start of Tieks’ campaign. Am I eligible for a gift card?
Your wish list purchase will qualify for a Tieks Gift Card if the receipt or order confirmation you provide is dated within the last 30 days.
+I bought school supplies for my child. Do I qualify for a Tieks Gift Card?
Unfortunately, qualifying purchases must be for a teacher or classroom wish list.
+I donated to a teacher’s classroom but I don't have a receipt. Do I still qualify?
To be eligible for a Tieks Gift Card, you must provide a receipt or order confirmation.
+Do I have to purchase supplies from a teacher’s Amazon Wishlist to qualify for a Tieks Gift Card?
There are other ways to help clear a teacher’s wish list, such as making a donation to a teacher’s DonorsChoose project. Your submission will be accepted as long as you have a receipt or order confirmation that meets the criteria.
+Can I donate supplies I already have?
While donating existing supplies does not qualify for a Tieks Gift Card, we encourage you to donate them to a classroom or school in need!
+I’m a teacher. Can I submit my classroom wish list?
We’re not promoting individual teachers' wish lists, but we recommend using a wish list database where you can submit your list like this one: https://wishlistfinder.spread.name/
+Are you taking monetary donations for teachers?
Tieks is not accepting monetary donations for this campaign.
